Prior to joining SAFCO, Mr. Ortega served as Senior Vice President of Servicing at United Auto Credit (UACC), where he played a pivotal role in reshaping the organization’s approach to customer service. He championed a shift from a traditional subprime servicing model to a retail-focused, customer-centric culture, which resulted in improved customer satisfaction and engagement.

Mr. Ortega’s extensive background also includes senior leadership roles at LoanMart and Westlake Financial Services.
