Jared Sellman

Jared Sellman serves as Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at SAFCO, where he leads the company’s enterprise-wide risk management strategy. With more than 15 years of experience in credit risk, analytics, and portfolio management, Jared oversees the identification, assessment, and mitigation of credit, operational, and compliance risks across SAFCO’s auto finance portfolio.
Jared directs the design and execution of SAFCO’s risk management framework, credit policies, and predictive modeling systems to ensure sustainable growth and profitability. He provides strategic guidance on credit performance, portfolio forecasting, and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of analytical rigor and accountability within the organization.
Before joining SAFCO, Jared held senior leadership roles in pricing, risk management, and forecasting at Santander Consumer USA, First Investors Financial Services, GM Financial, and Exeter Finance. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Midwestern State University.
