SAFCO continues adapting its response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to help our customers and staff during this unprecedented time.
Back in March, we encouraged customers to maintain contact with us as the situation developed. In response, we adjusted various policies and procedures to provide assistance options to customers, including payment deferments, waiving account fees, and how we work out plans with customers to bring their account current.
Maintaining a safe work environment and keeping our team healthy has also been a main focus of our efforts during the pandemic. We implemented a work-from-home model for select staff. This helps maintain the appropriate levels of staff available to assist our customers.
In addition, our offices have implemented extra cleanings, added cleaning stations for staff to utilize, required temperature checks at the beginning of shifts, and also reorganized desk locations to allow for social distancing.
We’re extremely proud of how our staff has responded to the changes and maintained a positive attitude through it all.
